The day begins with a delicious breakfast at your hotel and set off with packed lunch. The journey takes approximately 1 hour by road before you get onto a boat to explore this birders’ haven.
Through the papyrus swamp, you will set your eyes on several bird species including the White faced whistling duck, Saddle – billed Stork, African Purple Swamphen, Swamp Flycatchers, Common Moorhen, African Water Rail, Lesse Jacana, Squacco heron, Blue reasted Bee eater, African Pygime Goose, African Jacana, African Jacana, and Malachite Kingfisher.
The canoe ride will lead you to the rare shoebill stork.
