18 days wildlife safari explores 6 of the Uganda’s 10 national parks including; Murchison falls National park, Kidepo Valley National park, Kibale National park, Queen Elizabeth National park, Bwindi Impenetrable National park, Mgahinga Gorilla National park and L. Mburo National park. You will visit other places as you connect to different national parks including Mabira Forest; the larges forest reserve in Uganda, River Nile the 2nd longest River in the world, Sipi Falls, Cultural sites Lake Bunyonyi or Lake Mutanda among others.
You will do different activities in the different national parks including game drives, Boat cruise, community/cultural encounters, hiking, nature walks, birding, Chimp tracking, Gorilla tracking, Batwa Cultural experience, and other excursions of your interest.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company representative for transfer to your hotel either in Kampala or Entebbe for check in and rest from the long fright. Dinner and overnight stay at Marriot protea hotel(luxury), Malakai Eco lodge(mid-range)/Airport Guest house (Luxury)

Day 2: Drive to Jinja
After breakfast, connect to Jinja for an excursion, en route Mabira forest-the Uganda’s largest tropical forest for either nature walk or skyway zip-lining. Thereafter, continue to Jinja the second largest town for your preferred excursions. Upon arrival, have lunch then do an activity of your choice like white water rafting, bungee jumping, kayaking, or rest as you wait for an evening activity. Late afternoon, explore the source of the Nile with the sunset boat cruise on River Nile. Meet your driver to check in y Nile Resort/2 friends Jinja/Nile River Camp
Day 3: Transfer to Sipi falls
After breakfast, meet your driver for transfer to Sipi falls with enroute lunch in Mbale town. Arrive late in the afternoon and check in your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Sipi River lodge/Lacam lodge/Noah’s Ark Hotel

Day 4: Visit Sipi falls
After breakfast, meet your Driver and connect to the Sipi falls information center to get a guide who will lead you on the hike. Sipi falls has 3 falls located on Mt Elgon foothills with the smallest stretching at 75m, second at 85m and biggest at 100m. You can decide to hike all the 3 falls or 2 depending on your physical fitness. This will be a whole day activity and therefore clients do carry parked lunch with them. After your hike, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Have early morning breakfast, and check-out for transfer to Kidepo valley national park. This is a full day drive with en route lunch in Moroto town. Arrive late afternoon and check-in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Apoka Safari lodge/Kidepo Savannah lodge/UWA Apoka Bandas

Day 6: Game drive/Cultural Experience
Have early breakfast and go for a game drive in Narus valley a famous place for game drives in Kidepo valley national park. You have chances to see wild cats including lions, Leopards and cheetahs. Other animals likely to be sighted include Zebras, buffaloes, elephants and different species of antelopes among others. Kidepo was named to be the wildest park in Africa in 2015 by CNN. You will view these animals in this wild flat area.
After this morning breakfast, return to your lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, go for another game drive to Kidepo valley where you will meet the largest seasonal river in Kidepo and then different species of birds Ostriches being the most famous. You will also visit the hot springs in this area just close to South Sudan Border.
Instead of a game drive in the afternoon, you can chose to visit the Karamojong community in a cultural tour to learn about their rich culture. The Karamojong were formally the Cattle Wrestlers and the most backward community in Uganda before the government came out to help them get civilization. You will visit their homesteads with the help of the community guide and this tour will end with lots of entertainment by the community dancing groups where you will also be able to participate. Thereafter, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After your breakfast, meet your driver for transfer Murchison falls National Park through Tangi Gate. Make a stopover in Gulu town for lunch and thereafter proceed to Murchison. Arrive in the evening and check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari lodge (/Pakuba safari lodge/Fort Murchison lodge

Day 8: Morning game drive/Boat cruise/hike the top of the falls
Have early morning breakfast and proceed for a game drive to explore the parks rich wildlife. Murchison falls is the largest park in Uganda and has the most animals. On your game drive, you are likely to see animals like the Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes including bush/water back, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda Kob among others. On a lucky morning, you will sight leopards, lions and hyenas. Return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, connect for 2:00PM boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls along the Nile During the boat cruise, you will have a chance to see big schools of hippos, buffaloes and elephants on the shores coming to drink water, and variety of bird species including Kingfisher, Cormorants and bee-eaters among others. After getting close to the falls, there will be a stopover for photographs for like 10 minutes before going back. You can choose to hike the top of falls (45 minutes’ walk) with an additional cost which gives you opportunity to view the falls from different points. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, meet the driver for transfer to Kibale national park known as the primate capital of the world with over 13 species of primates including the chimpanzees. This is a full day drive with en-route lunch in Hoima.You will arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Crater Safari Lodge(luxury)/ Kyaninga lodge (mid-range)/Chimpanzee Forest Guest(budget)

Day 10: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience in Kibale Forest
After early morning breakfast, connect to Kanyanchu for briefing for your chimpanzee habituation experience at 6:30 AM. This is a full day activity where you will go with researchers to explore the behaviors of chimpanzees and the experience starts right from nesting. This activity helps you explore the behaviors of chimps, their way of leaving including feeding, mating and nesting among others. Kibale is known as primate capital and so expect to see a lot of other primate species during habituation experience. You are likely to also sight other animals like forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, warthogs, reptiles as well as a colorful butterfly. The group under habituation is normally under research and trying to get used to people until its ready for tracking. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Visit Bigodi Wetland /Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast, go for a nature walk at Bigodi wetland popularly known for birding. You will not only enjoy the silence but also the whispers and sounds of birds. Bigodi wetland is where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoiled nature and if you are good at birding, this is a great place to spot various bird species. Return to your hotel for lunch.
After lunch, connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight stay. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photography and visit the Kikorongo women group for entertainment or storytelling and visit their craft shop for souvenirs before checking in your lodge at Mweya Safari lodge (Luxury)Elephant Hub(mid-range)/Simba Safari lodge (Budget)Estimated distance 3-4 hours.
Day 12: Game drive and Launch Cruise in Queen Elizabeth.
After early morning breakfast, meet your driver for transfer to Kasenyi the famous place for game drives and mating ground for antelopes. You will have a chance to view different wild animals including lions, buffaloes, elephants, different antelopes and many more nocturnal animals and predators from hunting. After game drive, return to your hotel to relax and have lunch.
At 3:00pm, you will go for the famous launch cruise at Kazinga channel for 2 hours. While on the launch cruise, you will be able to see what you missed during your game drive. You have chance to see elephants and buffalos on the shores, crocodiles sun bathing and big schools of hippos. This is a good place to sight different bird species both original and migratory.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have early morning breakfast and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park-the southern sector through Mbarara-Kabale road. Have E-n route lunch in Kabale and thereafter proceed to your hotel in Bwindi for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla safari lodge (Luxury)/Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Mid-range/Budget)

Day 14: Gorilla trekking
Have breakfast and proceed to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by the Ranger guide. This is where you will be given the gorilla family to track and briefed about the rules that guide gorilla tracking. This activity is approximated to last for 4 to 6 hours and of which you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas after encountering with them. Time can be more or less depending on the movement of the gorilla family you have been assigned to track. Meeting the gorillas in their natural habitat is one of life rewarding experiences that last a life time. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point for de briefing and awarding of certificates. Then transfer back to the lodge to relax, have dinner and overnight
Day 15: Batwa Trail Experience
After breakfast, connect to the park offices for briefing about this cultural activity by the Batwa guides together with the UWA ranger guide as interpreter. The Batwa were the original occupants of the forest before it was degazetted into the national park. They used to survive on the forest entirely and it was their ancestral home. Later, they were moved out of the park and settled in the neighborhood communities surrounding the national park. This activity helps support them as a way of living. They will guide you through the forest with enriching stories on how they used to stay and survive on the forest for their livelihood. This will give you an enriching cultural experience that will last a life time. This activity ends with getting to Ngaramba Cave one of the largest caves in the virungas that used to act as a palace and parliament for their Kingdom. The Batwa dancing group will welcome you with a lot of entertainment with in the cave and outside the cave before being led back to the starting point. This activity lasts between 2 to 4 hours. Meet your driver to take you back to your hotel. Evening will be at own leisure.
Day 16: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi/All day at Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast, you will set off to Lake Bunyonyi a lava dammed lake believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa after Tanganyika with the depth between 44m and 900m and about 7 to 25kms wide. The lake is located between Kisoro and Kabale districts in the Southwestern Uganda. Its 2 hours drive from Kisoro to Lake Bunyonyi.
Take a boat trip to some of the fascinating islands on the lake which include; Kyahugye Island where you will some wildlife including Zebras, waterbucks, impalas and Uganda kobs, Akampeine island popularly known as a punishment island where pregnant unmarried girls from Kigezi were dumped to die up to early 60s when it was abandoned. Also, Bwama and Njuyeera Island, where missionary Dr. Leonard Sharp founded a leper colony. Day 17: Transfer to Lake Mburo –Igongo Cultural center/Embulala/ night game drive
Wake up very early and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, it’s 5 hours drive with enroute Lunch and stop over at Igongo cultural Centre where you will visit the museum and learn about the history and culture of Ankole Kingdom/stopover at Embulala lodge with enriching cultural experience of the Bahima; the cattle keepers. Thereafter, continue to Lake Mburo to check in your hotel, have dinner and then go for a night game drive with a ranger guide, with good chances to view wildlife in the night. On a very lucky day, you will see the lions and leopards hunting or feeding. This lasts between 2 to 3 hours. Overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge/Rwakobo/Rwonyo Camp
Day 18: Entebbe and departure.
After early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge, and connect to Entebbe international Airport for your scheduled flight. You will have en route in Masaka and then stopover at the Equator for photography and some soveniers.
