Lake Mburo is one of Uganda’s smallest National Parks found on the western side of the country. It is well known for the great profuse savanna whose existence is explained by the absence of elephants in this protected area.
This short 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari is a wonderful time for any traveler with limited time yet so rewarding with a variety of unique wildlife. Wildlife to look out for includes; zebra, Giraffes, Hippos, Warthogs, Elands, Kobs, and several birds that you may Encounter during your tour.
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
This day of your 2 Days Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari starts with breakfast early in the morning. Our guide will pick you from your Hotel in the morning to set off for Mburo. The Journey takes approximately 4-5 hours through Masaka and Mpigi Districts. Enjoy the lush foliage along the roads of the countryside and a stopover at the equator for a picture moment. Later proceed to Mbarara arriving at Mburo Park at noon. You will have lunch at a nearby hotel to enable us to prepare to go for the evening game drive to catch up with Uganda’s unique wildlife species. Relaxation, dinner, and night stay at the Rwakobo Rock lodge.
Day 2: Boat Cruise, Cultural experience, and Return to Kampala
Wake up to a delicious breakfast before you are picked by our guide to take you to the boat cruise point on Lake Mburo to catchup with schools of hippos, zebras, antelopes, and many water birds. Proceed to Igongo cultural center for a short cultural experience and set off for Kampala.
