Quick trip overview
This trip starts from Entebbe in Uganda and ends in Rwanda’s capital Kigali. The 4 days’ trip will take you to Uganda’s smallest yet very scenic wildlife reserve at Lake Mburo National Park. You will later head to Bwindi National Park to catch up with the Gorillas in the high mountains which they call home. We will then transfer to Kigali city and proceed to the airport for departure.

TRIP DETAILS
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park
After the morning breakfast at the lodge where you will have spent the night, you will be picked by our safari guide and embark on a 4-5-hour journey to Lake Mburo National Park. There will be a stopover at the equator line for a beautiful picture moment as we proceed to our destination at Lake Mburo National Park. We will arrive in the afternoon, check into the lodge and have lunch. You will then have an evening game drive to watch wildlife including; Elands, zebras, Buffaloes, leopards, Baboons, warthogs, and impalas among others. You will then retire to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock.
Day 2: Lake Mburo and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
This day after an early breakfast, you will have another exciting moment in a game drive in the park to catch up with animals in the morning hours when they are most active feeding. The cats and other predators are seen hunting down the defenseless animals. This is probably the most eye-catching event as the wild proves survival for the fittest. You will return to the lodge for lunch, check out and transfer to Bwindi National Park to watch the mountain Gorillas. It’s a rather short journey from Lake Mburo National Park to Bwindi. On arrival you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and night stay at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
This day begins with a delicious breakfast very early in the morning and transfer to the park headquarters to meet the park staff for briefing about the day’s activity in the forest. After being allocated a gorilla group to track, you will be led into the forest to track a Gorilla family in a team of 8 guests. The hiking requires some level of fitness that requires early preparation. On meeting a gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend a full hour with them as you study their behavior. You will then return to the lodge and if time allows, you will have a visit to the local communities to interact with the local people to now their daily lives. You will have cultural performances from the local cultural groups to end your day in happiness. Return to the lodge for dinner and night stay at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kigali City for departure
You will depart this morning after breakfast and drive to Rwanda’s capital Kigali through Katuna Border. You will have a short city tour at the genocide memorial grounds, have lunch in the city and head to the airport for your flight.
