Queen Elizabeth is one of Uganda’s oldest parks located in the western parts of Uganda bordering DRC. It is a habitat to over 95 mammal species which makes it the best place for spectacular game viewing and several other activities.

Bird Watching
One of the best places for bird watching is Queen Elizabeth National Park with over 600 bird species recorded there. keen birders will notice a lot of birds including; papyrus canary, pink backed pelican, sedge wabbles and many others. The vibrant bird life is an exceptional experience that you won’t miss in this beautiful park.
Game viewing
The park is home to over 95 mammal species including the famous tree climbing lions that are seen during game drives with our experienced stuff. Other animals are seen during boat cruise at the kazinga channel. Some of the game to expect include; large herds of elephants, Buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles and several antelopes among others. Queen Elizabeth is also home to the large cats like the leopard and several prides of lions.
Chimpanzee tracking
The northern part of the park known as kyambura is home to the Chimps that have been habituated for tracking. These Apes are tracked along with other monkeys, baboons, birds and butterflies that call this forest home. Chimpanzee tracking is normally done in kibale but the special case with Chimp tracking in Queen Elizabeth national park is that you will easily connect to other activities like game viewing in game drives.
Boat cruise at Kazinga channel
Launching a boat cruise on the channel that connects Edward and kyoga lakes is also one of the most eye catching ventures on your visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to set your eyes on hippos, and the scary Nile crocodiles sunbathing on the river banks.
Lion tracking
Queen Elizabeth is famously known for harboring tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. This makes Queen one of the most favorable places for those who would love to watch the big five since lion and other big cats can be seen there.
Note: There is more to see in this park especially as you drive along the different routes in the park in game drives and nature walks especially for birds.
