Bwindi National Park
Bwindi is Uganda’s home for the endangered mountain Gorillas in the high mountain mountains in the Kigezi in the south western region. It is undoubtedly true that habituation and tracking the gorillas in the forest is one of the most exciting moments in Uganda. Visitors are allowed to track the Gorillas after acquiring a tracking permit issued by Uganda Wildlife Authority. A Gorilla tracking permit costs 700 USD, 600 USD and 250,000 Uganda shillings for Non-Residents, foreign residents and East African citizens respectively. The permits can be acquired through trusted local travel agencies a few months to your travel date.
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison falls is one of the world’s wonders. Watching the mighty waters of the longest river in world forcing its way through the rocks of a 7meter gorge before exploding down to the overflow to make an easily sailable water body. Murchison falls National Park gets its name from this world treasure that has attracted thousands of travelers from all over the world every year. Murchison falls National park is home to a wide range of wildlife including, large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, Uganda kobs, forest hogs, leopards, hyenas and lions among others.
Source of the Nile
Uganda is home to the source of the longest river in the world. The river starts in Jinja in the eastern side of Uganda on a properly identifiable as the waters of Lake Victoria separate from River Nile. Several exciting activities take place here including; spot fishing, white water rafting and morning boat cruise to view the beautiful rising sun with family and friends. Lake Bunyonyi

It is located in the south western side of Uganda in Kabale district that neighbors Rwanda. Lake Bunyonyi is believed to be the deepest lake in Africa with very interesting unique islands that total to 29. Queen Elizabeth National Park
Ranked as the second largest Park in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park is one place you can never miss on your bucket list. The famous tree climbing lions are found in this park adding to the wide range of wildlife in this park Buffaloes, elephants, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, forest hogs, water bucks, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles and flamingos among other gem. Kazinga Channel that joins two lakes George and Edward is also found in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Salt Lake known as Katwe is also something to look out for wile at Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Kibale National Park
Kibale is the primate capital of East Africa being home to the highest population of chimpanzees in East Africa. over 1500 chimps live in Kibale National Park where travelers from all over the world gather to watch the closest relatives of human beings. Kibale is known to have 13 other primate species which are seen during the tour. Nature walks in this park will also give you a chance to watch the dofferent plant species, butterflies and birds in this area.
Buganda Kingdom
Uganda is a country with over 58 tribes and leaving without catching up with one of the cultures would leave you wondering how the true Ugandans behave in their native nature. The Buganda Kingdom dominates the central region including the capital Kampala.
