Genocide memorials
Rwanda went through a historical shock when the Hutu turned against the Tutsi and started killing each other as the world watched in shock and did not come in to help. The massive killing started immediately after the death of Rwanda’s president Habyarimana who was assassinated in a plane crash. The Genocide memorial center is a center of attraction where all the history about the genocide can be seen and learnt about.
Cultural Excursion
Rwanda’s culture is one like no other in the whole of Africa, it is known to have one culture and one language for all the Rwandan people. You will be swept off your feet by the traditional performances from the local people as they swing their arms in the air moving their seemingly boneless bodies as they dance.
Canopy Walk
Rwanda’s canopy walk is one of the three in the whole of Africa. It was established in 2010 in Nyungwe forest located in the south of the republic of Rwanda. Canopy is a suspended walk way on top of the forest. Rwanda’s canopy is suspended 50 meters high giving you an aerial view of the entire forest watching the birds and the abundancy of primates like the Chimps.
